Welcome to Color Theory!

Color Theory is your bi-monthly journey through the vibrant melodic dance spectrum – from the softest shades of mellow house to the bold euphoric strokes of melodic bass, and every shade in between. Catch episodes every other Sunday on c89.5 FM in Seattle — the next ones are on 5.4, 5.18, and 6.1.25.

We dropped some merch to celebrate, in collaboration with Atanadinata’s Design.

About Madlon

Madlon is a Seattle-based DJ and producer known for her emotive blend of trance, progressive, and melodic bass. With releases on labels including Feral One Records, Late Night Munchies, and Munchies After Dark, her sound bridges the cinematic and the dancefloor-ready—always with deep emotional resonance.

In January 2025, she launched Color Theory, an FM radio show on Seattle’s c89.5, guiding listeners every other Sunday night through a two-hour journey across the melodic dance spectrum. Her performances have spanned major festivals like Dancefestopia and Insomniac’s Boo! Seattle, along with direct support slots for artists including Ruben de Ronde, Fatum, Xijaro & Pitch, Amidy, and Pretty Pink.

Madlon's performances are characterized by their flowing meld of trance and melodic bass, aiming to take audiences on a colorful, wild, and healing melodic journey.

Thank you so much for supporting our suicide prevention fundraiser!

We raised over $1,000 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention! Golden Goddess led the efforts with several PDX event production companies, and a talented roster of DJ/producers played at Madlon’s first headlining show. Online proceeds from the show are going to the national chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and door ticket proceeds are going to the local PDX chapter. The GoFundMe page is still open if you’d like to donate.

Press & Accolades

The recent Seattle Volume 1 compilation was such a smashing success, artists big and small, old and new, are gearing up for Volume 2 already. Equally exciting is maintaining this fresh direction for the label and applying this to artists across the globe. This first Seattle based volume showcases myself, Jon Lee, Simon Houser, EMUH, Rachel Vick, Wolfstax, Jesse Leer, Tokita, Tony H, Sam Hipp, Snapdragon, Madlon and Reverend Dollars.
